Hear directly from candidates running for local and state offices during a moderated community conversation. Candidates will answer questions and introduce themselves, their experience, and their priorities. Candidate tables will also be available outside during the afternoon, giving attendees an opportunity to continue the conversation and ask questions one-on-one.
Meet the candidates, hear from community voices, enjoy live music, and grab something good to eat.

Gustavo Reyna is the mayor of Walla Walla and an advocate for thoughtful, inclusive community growth. His priorities include affordable housing, education and employment opportunities for young people, public safety, sustainable economic development, and creating a city where everyone can belong and thrive.

Blackout brings the raw sound and youthful energy of Walla Walla’s local punk scene.

Shakira Collins & Siri Mount
Shakira Collins is the owner of House of Grace Apothecary and a YWCA advocate serving the Dayton community. Through her business and community involvement, she promotes natural wellness, creativity, and connection.
Siri Mount is a junior at Walla Walla High School with a passion for student advocacy and community engagement. She serves as Washington Youth Lieutenant Governor for YMCA Youth and Government and as vice president of her school’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter. Siri is dedicated to elevating student voices and inspiring young people to speak up and get involved.

Gary Winston
& The Real Deal
Walla Walla’s Gary Winston and The Real Deal combine blues, old-school funk, R&B, and classic rock. Led by Gary Winston’s smooth vocals and funky guitar, the band delivers tight grooves, rich vocals, and an irresistible invitation to dance.

Kaylee Smith & Jason Pastor O’Neel
Kaylee Smith is president of the Walla Walla chapter of Washington Youth Alliance. She brings a youth perspective to community conversations and works to encourage young people to become informed, involved, and heard.
Jason Pastor O’Neel is a co-founder and president of the Washington State Lowriders Car Club. He works to celebrate lowrider culture, preserve its stories, and use cars, art, and community gatherings to build connections across generations.

Los Amigos
Con Groove
Los Amigos Con Groove fuses live instruments and vocals with a vinyl-scratching DJ to create an eclectic mix of classic hip-hop, Latin rhythms, funk, jazz, rock, soul, and lo-fi grooves. Their experimental, high-energy sound is live art made for moving.

Anthony Covert
Anthony Covert is a community advocate, speaker, and co-host of Concrete Mama: The Podcast. His remarkable story of resilience and transformation informs his work addressing incarceration, justice, second chances, and the power of people to change their lives.

Coyote Kings
Walla Walla’s Coyote Kings blend blues, funk, R&B, soul, and rock into a soulful, high-energy sound. Performing and recording since 2006, the award-winning band has released six albums and built an enthusiastic following across the Northwest and beyond.

Norma Hernández and Rodney Outlaw
Norma Hernández is the mayor of College Place and executive director of The Health Center. Drawing on more than two decades of nonprofit, financial, and community leadership, she works to make essential services and opportunities more accessible to underserved communities.
Rodney Outlaw is a Walla Walla City Council member and the founder and executive director of Running Waters Equity Fund. His work spans community organizing, youth engagement, music, education, and efforts to amplify the voices of traditionally marginalized communities.

Smokin’ Bandits BBQ
Smokin’ Bandits serves slow-smoked barbecue with bold West Texas flavor. Menu favorites include brisket and pulled-pork sandwiches, ribs, loaded BBQ nachos, beans, coleslaw, and other hearty specialties.
Taquería El Güero Tello
Taquería El Güero Tello will be serving tacos and other Mexican favorites throughout the afternoon. Because live music is better with tacos.
Baskin-Robbins
The Baskin-Robbins food truck will be serving ice cream treats throughout the afternoon. Because live music is better with ice cream, too.
Pro Shop Restaurant
The Pro Shop Restaurant, located inside the Veterans Memorial Golf Course clubhouse, will offer food and refreshments.
Alcohol may be purchased and consumed inside the Pro Shop Restaurant only. Alcohol is not permitted outdoors in the event area.
